Michael is an award winning animated filmmaker and travels the world pursuing his passion for art. Today he is an active painter with a particular interest in contemporary art and landscape. Michael Nock is a practicing artist primarily focusing on oil painting.
Nock’s art practice roots in the rich traditional Australian landscape painting and in the questions and concerns of contemporary Asian society. Through this fusion, Nock attempts to provide new vision of his environment. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions including the painting exhibition "Your Friend the Enemy" at the S. H. Ervin Gallery in Sydney.
